How to adopt a Rux Groodle puppy.
At Rux, we want you to be comfortable with the process from start to finish. Here are the steps to adopt a Rux Groodle puppy.
Step 1. View our litters.
It all begins with viewing our current and upcoming litters. Would you like a fleece cream puppy or a curly red boy? View the Rux Groodle puppies we have coming up to find a litter that works for you. If you find a litter that fits your needs, move to step two.
Step two. Apply online.
You would like to reserve a puppy. The next step is to fill out our Puppy Application online form.
We will ask several questions to ensure that we properly match you with the right puppy from the right litter.
Dog ownership is a big commitment and as responsible breeders, we aim to provide our puppies with loving forever homes.
Step 3. Send a deposit.
After receiving your application, we will email you a reply with further details regarding acceptance and payments. With your help, we’ll then confirm which litter you prefer to reserve a puppy from. We have people reserving up to a year or two in advance so it’s never too early to reserve!
Please note you will not be able to pick a specific puppy from a litter at the time of reservation. Choice of puppies is given in the order of deposit on selection day when puppies are 6 weeks old and ready for visitors.
Step four. Waiting.
If you have reserved a puppy from a litter that’s already born, continue to watch for photos of your puppy at around one week, four weeks, and eight weeks old. We post new photos regularly so you can view the puppies growing up.
Time for you to prepare your house for the new arrival. Read lots of training material and get your house completely puppy-proofed.
Step five. Selection day.
Our selection day is on a Saturday and when puppies are between five to six weeks old.
We schedule new puppy parents to view the litter and select their puppy in the order of deposit received. Each family is given around 45 minutes to meet the litter and select their puppy before the next family will arrive. You will have the final choice and we are also here to help and provide feedback to match your needs. If you are near the end of the list and you're not interested in any of the remaining puppies or puppy, you could then wait for another future litter of your choice.
Note: if you are shipping puppies to another location and not attending in person, we will contact you via video call at your scheduled time.
We will then take the time to answer any further questions you have! You will then receive an email with final acceptance and payments for your selected puppy.
Step six. Pick up day.
Hooray, it’s pick up day. Pick up day is on a Saturday when puppies are at least eight weeks old.
New owners will arrive and collect their puppy in the order of deposit received. Each family is given around 30 minutes for pick up. During this time, we will provide you with your puppy pack, which will include all the relevant paperwork, health records, microchip etc. We will then answer any questions you have prior to leaving with your new bundle!
